We spent Christmas Eve at my parent's house. Mom made a wonderful dinner and had everything decorated so beautifully. I threw my diet out the window and enjoyed my mom's delicious turkey and dressing!! The kids really enjoyed spending time with their cousin Collin!
Christmas morning this year was the first one where the kids woke us up. They came in our room at 5:30 and were too excited that Santa had been here. Quinn wanted to say a prayer before we opened gifts. He has such a thoughtful spirit. I can really see him growing spiritually. The kids then decided they wanted Tony and I to open presents first. Santa brought some awesome presents. Quinn and Ashton got a Wii! We have played it soo much, that I am officially sore from Wii bowling.
Later that morning, we went to Tony's parents house. We all had a really good time. I love watching everyone's faces as they open their gifts. I think that is my favorite part.
Ashton got a "Christmas Kiss" from Sid. She loves this dog, but I'm not sure she loves him this much...she quickly went to wash her face after I snapped this shot.
The presents have all been opened and Christmas is officially over. I have to say, that I feel like I've been on a "Holiday Bender". Quinn left yesterday to stay with Papa and Collin and Ashton has been an only child for a day now. I think she is starting to get a little lonely. We are all so tired today. Tony has spent all day on the couch and Ashton and I have been in my bed watching movies on ABC Family.
Hopefully we'll bounce back to normal tomorrow.
