I had coffee this weekend with my two best girl friends, Kelly and Pam. While we were visiting, I expressed how exhausting it is to continually be on the ups and downs of dieting. I beat myself up when I'm down and not following my program. It can be so tiring.
Kelly made a comment that I have been reflecting on for almost 2 days now...she said, "Becky, you need to embrace both the ups and downs." I have to admit, I have no idea how to do that.
Tony and I talked about it this morning some too. There is a little bit of fear that if I embrace the lows too much, I'll just cause more binge eating...and if you know me, you know my binges come be extremely dangerous. So, I'm not sure how to embrace a low from a positive position.
I guess I'm blogging this because I need your help. I need your thoughts on how to positively embrace my low days. I also need you to pray that I will trust God and how he wants me to handle both the ups and downs. Please leave a comment and give me your thoughts.
