Air1 @ Castle Falls

On Saturday, the kids and I went to help support The Anna's House Foundation as part of an Air1 charity event. Anna's House helps foster children through placement with christian families. Everyone brought Easter basket goodies that will be given to the foster kids. I really like showing the kids that our blessings should be shared and not kept to ourselves.

As a part of the event, Coppelia, a DJ from Air1, was there. I love listening to her on Air1, but let me tell you...she is even more adorable in person. We had several conversations with her and she is a truly genuine person.



Tenth Avenue North was also in attendance. I love their song "By Your Side"...it was one of the first songs that really touched me when I started listening to Air1. It reminded me that God is always there, no matter how screwed up I am. Well, the guys from Tenth Ave are amazing. They performed a couple of songs for us and did a meet a greet. The kids thought it was awesome. I had a video to attach, but it is too big...darn it!






The event was held at Castle Falls...it is such a beautiful place, it's hard to believe it is in the middle of the city. It felt like we entered another world.
