Gall Bladder Sympathies

If you know Tony and I as a couple, you know that we very in sync with one another. We think alike, act alike and finish each other's sentences. Well, I never fully realized just how in sync we were until today....let me back up for a second and give you some history.

Tony had his gall bladder removed a week and a half ago. He's healing up fine...btw. Well, a week ago, I started getting real nauseous. It happened two nights in a row and it was miserable. It went away though so I didn't think much of it. Then on Monday night, I had a horrible pain in my throat. Almost like a pill being stuck in my throat. By Tuesday night, the pain had moved to my chest. It was extremely painful. I took tons of antacids and nothing helped.

Yesterday morning, Tony was extremely freaked out and took me to the ER to have an EKG run on my heart. Thank God! It wasn't my heart. But the ER nurses told Tony that they thought it was my gall bladder and I should go see a GI doc. So Tony loaded me in the car and took me right to the doctor that did his surgery.

We walked into her Moore office and Tony began his normal flirting and such with the secretary. She said the doc was in her Norman office, so Tony asked if they could get me in to see her that day. They said they would squeeze me in and we drove right over there. We told her my symptoms and she set me up for an ultrasound at 11am. So, we left the doctor's office and headed right over the ultrasound.

Today we got the results and I have gall stones. Can you believe it?? My gall bladder will be removed on Monday afternoon and Tony and I will matching scars...now that's what I call LOVE!
