20 Dancers Enter...2 Dancers Leave

As I told you a few posts ago, I am addicted to So You Think You Can Dance! I totally can't wait for summer so I can some of the most amazing dancing and choreography there is.

Each season, the top 10 guys and top 10 girls are randomly placed into couples and then they choose a style of dance out of the hat. They get 1 hour (I think) with the choreographer to learn the routine and they spend the week practicing the routine, practicing their solo (in case they have to dance for their life) and also practicing the group number...WOW! That is a lot to work on in one week. America votes on their favorite couples and the bottom 3 must dance for lives in front of the judges. The judges then decide who is going home.

In my last post about the show, I showed you some of my favorite numbers from seasons past. For this season, I want to show you my favorite number from each episode...but for this first episode, I am really struggling with picking my favorite. I know which 2 I DO NOT like, but of the ones I really enjoyed, I just don't know which one to pick.

SO...without further ado...here is my favorite from this week's episode. I absolutely love this style of dance and it is very new to America. The dance moves quickly and the intricacy of hand movements, leg movements and body movements are absolutely amazing.

This week, Tony and Paris were sent home. I wasn't a huge fan of Tony, but I loved Paris. I really think she got the shaft to be paired with Tony and she could have lasted longer if they hadn't been together. As a goodbye to this couple, here is their dance from this week.
