I have pretty plaque in my bathroom that says "Love Conquers All"...and every time I look at it I tend to ponder on that statement. Does 'love' really conquer all? I see tons of relationships failing, children disappointing their parents and pain everywhere. But that is when I realized, I was looking at it incorrectly.
How is love defined? Not by Webster's dictionary, but by the Bible? In 1 John 4:8, we are told that "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love". So take that and replace it in the sentence....
God Conquers All
As painful as things can be here on Earth, we know that God will carry us through them. He will deliver us to a better place.
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Colossians 3:1,2
