On Saturday, Ashton attended the Yard Dawgz Jr. Dance Team Clinic. They spent the day at the Arena practicing a dance that would then be performed at half time of the game that night. Ashton was so excited to get to do it, but the nerves really started getting to her. I was so proud of her for putting on her "big girl panties" and rockin' out! I was such a proud stage mom!! LOL She was plenty excited when I told her she would get to wear make-up again. It was another one of those horrible moments for me though...she looked so grown up! It is only a matter of time before she will be doing her own make-up.
Here are few pictures from that night and a video of the performance...(ignore the out of focus segment it doesn't last for long).
Another member of our family got to "perform" as well. It was Firefighter and Police Officer night. An annual event that they do is a dodge ball game between the two. Tony was volunteered to play by our friend Krystle. Sadly though, there were a TON of firefighters and only a few police officers...so Tony got picked to play for the officers. He had a pretty good time and the kids really enjoyed watching. We were so proud of our daddy!

She ROCKED that!!! She didn't need any help at all!! I am so totally impressed!! Have you signed her up yet? You watch, she'll be on that same field in about 10 years as a "real" Yard Dawgz dancer!! Too cute!! I've said it before...you better watch out!!
