The Balcony, A Wizard, and A Wild Thing

Quinn and Ashton are in Branson this week with my parents, so Tony and I are trying to take full advantage of our time alone. Last night, we went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but we didn't just have a normal movie going experience. We decided to splurge and go the Warren Balcony!! It is a costly experience, but I loved the extra bit of pampering that you get...seat warmers, wait staff, extra cushy chairs and a great view of the screen. We really enjoyed it.

The movie was fabulous! I have to be honest, 8 years ago when Harry Potter came to the big screen, I didn't know much about him. I wasn't an avid reader then and so hadn't heard of the books. But the movies quickly grabbed us in and we were hooked. We haven't missed a movie and we own them as soon as they come out on DVD. Each movie is a delight to watch and we are never disappointed. Half Blood Prince met all of our expectations. The story was thrilling, romantic, suspenseful, and funny. There are several loose ends that get tied up and more that are created for the final story. This is a must see for every Harry Potter fan.

During the previews last night, a preview for Where the Wild Things Are was shown...OMG! I love, love, love this book. I cannot wait to see the movie.
