Saturday morning we started training at 8:30am. I hate that we are having to work through the weekend, but it was the only way for us to get all of the training in with minimal impact to the business. It was a long hard day though. Three nights of staying out late and I was a "nodder" after lunch and my tummy was full! Whew! I had to take a walk around the building to wake myself back up. We got out of the office earlier...at 4pm. We went back to the hotel and I took a 2 hour nap in preparation for another late night.
We drove out to Boulder and can I say....this is where I want to live. If you've never been to Boulder, it is in the foothills of the Rockie Mountains. Beautiful, beautiful town. We drove around in the neighborhoods and just took in the gorgeous houses with the beautiful view. We found one house that is brand new and HUGE! Three levels with at least 2000 square feet per level. We are betting that this house as about $3.5 million. Anyone wanna move into it with us???
We found a hiking trail at the base of the mountain and walked up a little ways and just enjoyed the breathtaking view. Just below us, we saw a family of 5 deer. I was so amazingly peaceful up there. I could've sat out there all night, except that it looked like a storm was coming in and I am scared to death of lightening up here in the mountains.
After our wandering around, we ended up in downtown Boulder. Ah-maze-zing! It is such a fun, little town. Of course it is a college town, the home of Colorado University. So the night life is hoppin'! We enjoyed the street musicians and the beautiful shops. We found a great little Mexican restaurant called Rio Grande. When we walked in we asked for patio seating and found out we could eat on the roof. It was so fun! We ate great food and had another night of great conversation. There hasn't been a day yet, that I haven't laughed so hard that I cried.
We got back to the hotel late again, so I'm sure I'll need another nap today. I miss you all so very much and I'm looking forward to being home on Tuesday.
