Planning Ahead

Well, it's #5 on Friday (of the 11 Ways to Stay Focused)!! Planning Ahead Without Fail! OMG! This one is huge and you would think I would have my lesson learned with all of the many times I have failed to plan ahead....and believe me, this one is big in my whole life...not just when it comes to making healthy decisions. (I was never prepared with diapers when my kids were babies...but that is a whole other post.)

So, this is where I have to make the commitment to myself to always plan ahead (and be prepared). Preparedness also comes when change occurs. So, I will stock my purse and desk with healthy snacks (protein bars, protein shakes, etc, etc.) and I will pack my gym back the night before when I plan to workout at lunch. I think this one will be pretty easy to implement.

I can't tell you how many times I have had the intention of drinking a protein shake for breakfast and walk out the door and leave it on the kitchen counter...ugh! It is so frustrating...of course, this keys me off to stop at Sonic or Johnnie's and those are never good ideas. It's time to fix that and have something else available either in my purse or my desk!
