Being the wife of a fire fighter can be very challenging for my social life. It never fails, something always gets scheduled on the nights that Tony is at the fire station. Not to mention, the kids have activities that they need chauffeured to on these nights as well.
So, tonight was one such night for me. Tony is at the station, Quinn had honor choir practice from 4-5, Ashton had dance from 6:30 - 7:30 and I had a JH meeting from 5:45 - 8:30. What to do?
I can't subject a standard baby sitter to the torture of running my kids all over God's creation...so the next best thing to parents are grandparents.
First of all, I hate having to ask someone else to take care of my kids. I feel like a slug not taking care of my own kiddos. But my mom and dad are always willing to help out and they love spending time with Quinn and Ashton.
Thanks Mom and Dad for always helping out and for being such wonderful Grandparents. You are a true blessing to our family. I love you guys more than you will ever know.
