For Valentine's Day, we went to see 2 movies. On Saturday, we saw Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Lightning Thief. This was a full family movie. And we all loved. It is full of excitement and tons of Greek mythology which I really, really enjoy. A couple of the images were pretty scary for Ashton. (Maybe tonight she'll sleep in her own bed.)
I loved all of the actors. I was a little disappointed when I figured out who the lightning thief was, since it was pretty early in the movie. (Dang, you Tony! He always movies and tries to figure them out and now he has me doing it...ugh!) Uma Thurman was an awesome Medusa, too.
On Sunday, five couples from church went to see Valentine's Day. I LOVED IT!!! It was heartwarming, sentimental and so dang cute! There were a ton of stars in the movie, which had me a little worried that it would bomb, but they did such a good job on this one. (I have to admit though, Taylor Swift drove me nuts. She was a total spaz! But I loved everyone else!)
Both of these movies will end up in our DVD collection and I'm already looking forward to seeing them again.

I have been waiting to hear a review on Valentines Day. I was worried that it would be a bomb too. Hopefully, we can get to the theater to see this one. Love a lot of the actors that are in this.
Agreed Taylor Swift was too silly!
And I want to see Percy Jackson, that kid is so cute!
