Moore Elementary Honor Choir 2010

Just before Christmas, Quinn auditioned for the Moore Elementary Honor Choir. From his school, only 9 students were selected, so it is quiet an honor....no pun intended. Once back from Christmas break, they began twice a week rehearsals. The first few weeks were spent with just the 9 kids from their school, then they joined up with some other schools and rehearsed with 70 kids and the last few weeks the whole group got together...219 kids from across the district.

The commitment that these kids had to make was huge. I am so proud of Quinn for never missing a rehearsal and always practicing his songs.

Thursday night was the concert and I was so nervous for them. But they sang beautifully. It truly is a beautiful sound to hear 219 voices in unison. Enjoy the short videos, but know that the sound doesn't compare to hearing it live.

Quinn! You did a great job! This is a such a great event to catapult the last few weeks of your elementary school life. I love you!!!
