The impending Oklahoma weather has already ruined by weekend. First off, my sister and her boyfriend were supposed to go on a double date with Tony and I tonight. They live in Missouri and arrived at my parents house yesterday. Well, with the forecast of 5-10 inches of snow, they are heading back home today. So, I haven't even got to see my sister or meet Vince. Tony and I are still going to enjoy the date, but I am still disappointed.
Saturday's plans were to go out to Shawnee and hang out at my parents all day. This is obviously not happening. Even thinking about it makes me have painful flashbacks of our Christmas Eve experience. And since Tony is working, I do not want to get caught in the weather on my own. I will, however, WILL be going to Target to get my copy of New Moon. I will also be going to my friend, Nicole's, open house for her Scentsy business. It is early in the day and she only lives a few miles away.
On Sunday, Tony and I are "supposed" to be leaving for a wonderful 4 day trip (ALONE) to Branson...but with the roads, how treacherous will this be??? Tony refuses to let the weather mess up our trip and says we are still going to Branson. I really, really hope he is right and that we still get to go enjoy our trip. I guess even if we have to wait and leave on Monday, it will still be a good trip.
It will be an interesting experience to have 70 degree weather today and then a blizzard tomorrow. You just gotta love Oklahoma!!

Hey, did you get the Coach outlet coupon from Coupon Divas? Wish I were going!! Ha! Sorry about you're weekend being ruined!! You can come help me paint now!! Haha!!
Wat is up with this weather, huh? 72 degrees today, high of 45 tomorrow with a chance f snow flurries. In TEXAS. In MARCH! This is crazy!
Hope you get to go on your trip. The good news is, since we've had all of this warm weather, the ground temp is too warm for widespread road freezing. You'll just have to worry about bridges and overpasses, and hopefully the ambient tem will get above freezing quickly on Sunday, so even that worry will disappear. Try to have a good weekend, despite the weather!
