First, I want to wish you all a happy belated Easter. We had beautiful weather here in OKC, which is much different from last year.
We started the day by going to church. Our Easter service was great...but of course it always is. They something different this year and had a painter on stage that painted three huge canvases during the singing and lesson. It was until the end that he moved the canvases around and revealed the final picture. It was pretty cool.
After services we had the annual egg hunt on the front lawn of the church. This year we had over 10,000 Easter eggs stuffed full of candy. Of course, because the weather was SO beautiful, all of the chocolate was melted, which was NASTY.
We drove out to Shawnee to have lunch with Mom, Dad, Robin, Vince and Collin. Robin and them had to leave right after dinner so they could get to Missouri before dark....but it was nice to spend some time with them.
After a short nap, the kids colored eggs and then we enjoyed a late afternoon egg hunt. The kids had a lot of fun. To finish off the hunt, Quinn got out his golf club and decided to mutilate the eggs! A little free therapy in form of egg smashing!
