WHATEVER TICKLES MY FANCY
I want to talk about how old habits die hard. Cause let me tell you...my cravings have not gone away since surgery and I find myself going back to old habits much too regularly. And by old habits I mean...too much snacking, feeding my cravings, eating carbs (and more than just a bite here and there), eating junk even though it makes me sick..etc, etc, etc.
No matter what one does or uses as a tool to lose weight, it is just that...a tool. I am now faced with the hardest part of this game...maintenance. I've lost weight before, but isn't weight loss success really measured by the ability to keep the weight off?
It's all a head game and obviously my head isn't exactly "healed" yet. One day at a time is all I can do I guess...and sometimes that seems like too much handle too.
