Especially when I am in a hurry and I can't find matching earrings.
So, here is my solution....
I made this out of a shadow box frame. I took out the glass and put in wire mesh that I found at Hobby Lobby. (The mesh was a little hard to work with, but I think if I were a little more patient with it, it might have been a little easier. I am all about instant gratification.)
I decided to use a hinged shadow box so that I could use it for more than just french hook earrings. Now I can open it and put my post earrings in it too.
Much more organized! I just know it will save me time in the mornings.
Be watching for my next jewelry organizer...a necklace holder!

Love it! I made something similiar to this but I like the idea of using the shadow. I may need to come look at it!! ;)
I cant wait to see your necklace holder. mine are in wads all over the top of my dresser so i am excited to see what you do so i can try to organize them because they are tangled and out of control
