A Girl's Weekend

Ashton and I got to spend almost the entire weekend alone. Quinn was gone to a youth retreat and Tony was working.

So, we started Saturday morning by going to Target to buy Eclipse on DVD. Then we came home and watched all 3 movies back to back. We took a short break in between to have a little pampering and get our fingers and toes all prettied up.

Sunday afternoon, we went to see Burlesque. OMG! Can I say just how much I loved all of the singing and dancing in this movie? It was fabulous. The story was just so-so, but I really did love the dance numbers. And the costumes (although extremely provocative) were absolutely beautiful. (I think in my imaginary world where I am a little trashy, I would be a burlesque dancer...hehehe) I will definitely be buying the soundtrack, the music was so entertaining.

Anyways, we were sad when the boys were both back home and it was no longer a girls weekend. But we both had a great time together and I truly cherish these moments that I get to spend with my girl....while she still thinks I am a little cool.
