This has been a weekend full of Christmas shopping and movies. I've loved it!!!
I took the day off on Friday and Tony and I spent the morning "wrapping up" our holiday shopping. It is so nice to be done it! Now I can enjoy the next two weeks and not stress about the small things.
When we were done shopping, we headed to the Warren to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I.
OMGoodness! It was such a great movie, but it was very dark and kinda scary at times. I cannot wait for part two which is coming out this summer. It will be sort of sad though, as I have been a huge fan since the first movie.
Saturday morning, I was the only one awake and I stumbled across one of my all time favorite movies on Encore Love...Tuck Everlasting.
If you haven't ever seen this movie, you must! It is about a family who has found the fountain of youth. They no longer age, but must keep their secret from everyone else. It is a such a sweet, sweet movie.
On Sunday evening, we decided to go see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It was another GREAT movie!! It had a very pirate feel to it! I love, love, loved it!
My favorite thing about the Narnia movies are all of the hidden biblical references. It's nice to watch the movie with the kids and then discuss the connection with them.
I highly recommend all three of these movies.
