Not like I have a ton of free time in life either, but it appears that any extra time I do have will be absorbed with 'couponing'. Yep, that's right, I am going to be an actual 'couponer' after a class I took last night. I have to first tell you though, that I took a stab at clipping coupons about 6 months ago. I got totally overwhelmed and just stopped....much to Tony's dismay, since he and Dave Ramsey seem to think saving money is good...hehehe.
Well, last night, my friend Nicole and I went to a Coupon Class that was put on by the wonderful Carrie, at Coupon Closet. It really was pretty fun and I learned a lot about couponing that I didn't quiet understand. Like how to stack coupons, who allows stacking, and how to coupon match-up.
Carrie talked about huge savings on her family's grocery budget...there are 7 in her family and they used to spend well over $1000. Now she spends less than $200 a month. I HAVE GOT TO LEARN HOW TO DO THIS!!! And learn to do it well.
So, I guess this week, I have lots to do. One of which is to get my coupon box all set up and start stock piling coupons. I don't expect to see major decreases in my grocery bill at first, but hopefully after a month or so, the numbers will start dropping and I will start spending less on our monthly groceries.
So, if you are interested in learning more about the Coupon Closet check out her site by clicking HERE or by clicking the picture above. She gives FREE classes and I highly recommend you check it out.
I will try to keep you updated on my progress. My first actual full grocery trip will not be until next weekend. Hopefully, I will have wonderful news on what I spent.

It works well. We have a group of us at work that pass our unwanted coupons around, so we can get multiple coupons of what we use a lot. I also love the fact that you can stack coupons at Target!! Woot! Woot!
HI! Love your new look! And I am so excited to get going and to save!
Couponing is so addictive and life changing! It totally changed the way about how I spend money! My husband is so annoyed that I never want to buy stuff without coupons anymore! Good luck! The time is worth it!
