A Winter Staple

Ok, maybe not a staple, but definitely something fun to make.

SNOW ICE CREAM!!!
My mom used to make this when we were kids and I am totally excited to finally introduce my kids to it.

Get yourself some fresh snow...make sure it isn't yellow.

In a separate bowl, combine milk or evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla (I used 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. milk and a teaspoon of vanilla). Then add your snow and voila...snow ice cream.

It is really yummy too. The closest you can get to homemade ice cream in the winter without needing an ice cream machine.

Our final product is kinda yucky looking...Ashton couldn't help but add green food coloring to it. In fact, Ashton would add food coloring to everything if I would let her. It is really pretty funny.

Anyways, if you try to make some too, you have got to let me know.
