Well, I had my treadmill test yesterday. It wasn't horribly grueling, but it wasn't perfectly pleasant either. I felt like a hamster running on it's wheel in some science lab.
It only took 15 minutes for them to get my heart rate up to 200 bpm. My little ticker was ticking a little too fast. And it wasn't like I was jogging...the highest speed I got up to was 4.5 mph and by that point, I was dizzy and couldn't breath. In fact, I told them I needed to stop and so two of the techs stood with their hands on my back to keep me on the treadmill and moving for a few more seconds.
Although I don't have specific results yet, the lab tech said all he could see was POTS...which we new was already present. Of course, I still have to wait for the official reading from the doctor...but I am optimistic that there is nothing else besides POTS.
I wasn't near as exhausted as I thought I would be afterwards, but I was still pretty tired and dizzy. I definitely slept like a baby last night.
