Filling the Time

Since I can't really leave the house much after 10am, the weekends can get a little long. So, in order to beat the cabin fever (who knew you could have cabin fever in the summertime), I got a little crafty.

It's not much, but it did involve a glue gun, which always makes me smile!

This was a cheapy notebook I bought at Target. I added the ribbon and book plate and a back closure of velcro and turned the notebook into a nice little Food Journal. I also have another notebook, that came with this one. I will, no doubt, be dressing it up later too.


I also {finally} finished my necklace hanger. This thing has been sitting in my bedroom half done for at least 6 months, but I suspect it was longer than that. I really like how it turned out. I have loaded it up with half of my necklaces and still have a full hanger of necklaces in the closet. I better get to work on another hanger, huh?


I can feel the creative juices flowing...especially since my office is also my scrapbook room, so I hope to have more wonderful things to show you soon.
