The Witch's Daughter by Paula Brackston

This book had me anxiously awaiting the next time I was gonna get to read some more. I couldn't wait to find out more about Bess's life. Just as I thought I had it figured it out, more twists would be thrown in to the mix.

I think what I found as an undercurrent to the story, was how blocking ourselves off from relationships with others, is just as damaging as opening yourself up and being hurt by someone.

This is a perfect book for the Halloween season! And who doesn't love that cover?
