Sickie Sick

I had the best intentions to spend the weekend writing blog post after blog post and finally catching up...but my stomach had other ideas.

I caught, what is affectionately being called, the "JH plague". It seems that a crazy stomach virus was passed out at our general meeting on Thursday night and I was one of the lucky recipients!

It hit on Friday evening while Ash and I were enjoying a fun night at my friend Misty's. Tony was at the fire station and Quinn was in Texas, so I had a fun weekend planned for our single child. Instead she got sit patiently by her puking momma. But she was so sweet. She rubbed my back, got me wet wash clothes and even made me a pallet by the toilet.

I decided that I couldn't keep this gift to myself though. I lovingly re-gifted it to Tony. It hit him on Sunday afternoon. So, while I am still sick, he is sick too. Who takes care of things when both parents are sick? Apparently, the kids...and they didn't enjoy it much at all.

I am on the mend and back at work today, but still weak and partially dehydrated. Tony is still on the couch, but should be back up on his feet in the next day or so.

Let me tell you, this was the worst stomach virus I can ever remember having. I don't want it again and sure hope neither of the kids catch it.

Oh no! I've heard about that stomach virus and I hope it stays far, far away from our house. I hope you feel better and no one else catches it! Take care!

Bless your heart. I'm so bummed that you guys both got it. There is absolutely nothing that can make you feel better faster except time and gatorade!
