Girls Night Out

Ashton and I love our time together, especially when we have a whole evening with no guys in the house.  This past Thursday, Quinn was a mission trip and Tony was at the fire station, so we planned an evening all to ourselves.

Ashton decided we needed to dress up.  So we put on our purple sundresses and enjoyed dinner at Qdoba out on the patio.  The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun sitting outside.  Jeana joined us and we just had some great girl time and great food.

After dinner, Ashton and I went to Redbox and rented Joyful Noise.  This movie was so cute and uplifting.  The musical number at the end was well worth the wait and such a great surprise.  Ashton even downloaded the medley from iTunes as soon the movie was over.

As much as we love our boys, it is so nice to spend some time alone.

How super fun! I love that she wanted to get dressed up with her mama. I understand mom/daughter time now that I have a girl and I love it already.
