Labor Day at the Drive-In

I hope you all had a great extended holiday weekend.

We welcomed in the Labor Day holiday with a couple of movies at The Winchester Drive-In.  Since Tony and I were both off work on Monday, we decided to go on Sunday night and we invited our friend Jeana and her kids, Aub and Bro.

I'm sure your thinking....wasn't it HOT on Sunday night?  And the answer is yes, YES it was!  But we braved the heat and enjoyed two great movies.  Unfortunately, it didn't start cooling off until about 11:30pm, but it wasn't unbearable.

The two movies we saw were The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Bourne Legacy.  Both are great, great movies!

Timothy Green is a magical and emotional movie.  This was our second time seeing it and it was no less wonderful or heart breaking.  I have a feeling this one will be added to our DVD library.

Bourne Legacy was non-stop action.  I was a little lost since I hadn't seen the 3rd Bourne movie, but I was able to get the majority of what was happening.  Of course, it has been left open for more Bourne movies and I can't say that I am upset about that.  These movies always give you what they advertise....lots of action and violence and usually a good lookin' man!

I hope we can get in at least one more drive-in movie night before the season is over.  We shall see...band seems to have taken up our entire calendar until about Thanksgiving.

***Speaking of band....come out and support the Southmoore Sabercat Band at our car wash on Saturday, Sept 8 from 9 - 3 at the Burger King on 19th Street.  Quinn will be there from 12 - 3 if you want him to personally wash your car.
