37th Birthday Blah-dom

I just had my 37th Birthday on Wednesday...blah! Why Blah? Well, I haven't felt real well the last few days, Tony had to work at the fire station, and dang it...I am another year older.

On my actual birthday, I ran some errands with the kids. We had to plans to go to a movie, but a horrible headache came on about an hour before the show time, so we headed home and I went to bed. That evening, I went to dinner with my friend Jeana and her kiddos and my kiddos. After dinner, we dropped Quinn off at the church for a lock-in and then Ashton and I rented some movies and dropped by Barnes and Noble for a little shopping.

Tony also worked all day yesterday at his 2nd job, so we had my birthday celebration dinner last night. We went to a neat place on Campus Corner in Norman called Seven47. They have a really neat unique menu, but they ARE NOT cheap. And don't get in a hurry...the service is slow, but I guess it should be that way when you are supposed to be having a relaxing family meal.





Half way through dinner, my parents offered to keep the kids and let Tony and I go see a movie. When we got to The Warren, the movie we were planning to see was sold out...ugh! All of the other movies started right before 10pm and we decided we didn't want to be out that late since my parents would have to drive all the way back to Shawnee at midnight if we did.

This wasn't the best birthday for me this year, but they all can't be. But I did get some great gifts and go to spend a couple lazy days at home. Maybe next year will be better.
