I hope each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to think on those things that you give thanks for this year.
Our Thanksgiving plans originally had us going to see my sister and family, but that was plan was derailed by a stomach bug that hit their family. So, we quickly came up with a plan B. I had already scheduled Wednesday off for the trip, so I still took the day off and got 5 full days off work! It was FANTASTIC!!! I really missed seeing my sis and her fam, but it felt so nice to not have any plans for a full weekend.
On Wednesday, we hung out at our house and got our Christmas decorations up. I am so happy with our decor this year...it feels so warm and cheery. Thursday was an impromptu dinner at my parent's house. We hung out there all day and enjoyed a lot of relaxation. The rest of the weekend was spent watching TV and movies and doing a lot of crafting. I can't wait to share all of my projects that were inspired by Pinterest.
Saturday night, Ashton and I went to the movies with my friend, Jeana. The Warren had a sneak preview of We Bought a Zoo...which comes out Christmas weekend. This was a wonderfully beautiful family movie that is based on a true story. So, pack up your family and go see when it comes out.
I have lots to blog about, but I will try to pace myself to avoid overwhelming you with multiple posts in one day.
