Boo yah!
I actually completed a resolution in 2011. Hard to believe...I know!
The resolution was to go out on a date with my hubby every month. You wouldn't think finding one night to go out on a date would be that hard...but it was much harder than I thought.
Some months were all-out-fancy dates....other months were just moments together without the kids. But I am so glad we made our time together a priority this year.
It is my goal to keep the priority every year going forward.
Here are some highlights from our year of dates....
- Burn the Floor at the Civic Center
- Chips for Charity
- Movie, movie, movies and more movies
- A stolen afternoon lunch
- Running errands without the kids
Our last and final date of 2011 was this afternoon. Tony came up to my work and we went to lunch together. I've learned that it isn't about what you do or how much money you spend, it is that you find time to nurture the relationship that was given to you by God!

So proud of you. I have lived 36 years without EVER completing a New Year's resolution. Good for you!!
Way to go! Not just on keeping your resolution but finding time, no matter the occasion, for each other. That is such a special treat! I think I will borrow that resolution this coming year. Thanks for the idea and best wishes in the new year!
