I have a list of books that I have read that are waiting their turn to be part of Book Talk Tuesday. But when I finished this book on Monday night, it immediately jumped to the front of the line. The other books will just have to wait, because I MUST tell you about this book now.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
This book was introduced by Hayley at our book club a couple months ago, but the copy wasn't one that she could share. I wrote down the title and thought I might eventually buy it. So, when I was in Ohio, I found an AUTOGRAPHED copy at The Book Loft! And it was 20% off! Score!
From the first minute I started the prologue, to the last few sentences of the epilogue, this book had complete hold on me. There was no need for character build-up. It was like I immediately knew them and they were in my life. This book made me laugh and cry, get angry and frustrated, and it even made me giddy like a schoolgirl. I hope everyone that reads it will love it as much as I did. This will be a "forever in my collection" book!

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .
Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has never been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex-Master-of-the-Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.
Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.
A Love Story for this generation, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?
