I wasn't feeling well on Easter Sunday so I really didn't think it would be much of a day. I still made myself look as best I could and we went to my parent's church for services. After services, a nap and lunch; the kids talked my mom into coloring eggs. I was shocked that my growing young lady and man, both wanted to color eggs.
And even more shocking was the fun they had hunting them.
The biggest smile came to my face via Quinn though...you see, my mom had two Easter baskets and Ashton had already claimed the semi-unisex one. The other was extremely girly. And Quinn refused to use it. So he hunted eggs with the pan that they had been boiled in. I was cracking up watching him try to hold it still so the eggs wouldn't roll around while he ran to beat his sister in the hunt.
It turned out to be one of our best Easter Sundays ever.
