Shabby Souls

I joined an online book club in December and we had our first meeting this last weekend. Most of the girls are friends of mine, but there a few new faces that I look forward to getting to know better.

We met a place called "Cuppies and Joe". It's a cute little shop in the Paseo district that serves gourmet cupcakes and coffee. The atomosphere is relaxed and is a place to just sit and visit with friends.

We spent time getting to know each other and we shared thoughts and recommendations on our favorite books. Natalie loaned me "Marley and Me" and she said the movie didn't do the book justice, so now I am reading 3 books at once...is that even possible...hehehe.
