The Tale of Despereaux

We missed seeing The Tale of Despereaux at Christmas time, so we have patiently waited for it to hit the dollar theatre. The cool thing about going on Tuesday nights is that it only cost us $2 for all four of us! They killed us at the concession stand, but at least it was still cheaper than going to The Warren.
The movie was really cute! There are a lot of big name stars who gave their voices for this movie. The story had a great meaning to it, but for adults, this movie was a little slow. I would rate it a 5 out of 10. The kids enjoyed it a lot. Ashton gave it an 8 and Quinn gave it a 7. If you are like me and just love to watch movies on the "big screen" then go catch it before it's gone...if not, wait for it to come out on DVD and rent it.
