I have to admit, I am a skeptic when it comes to people who say they died and went to heaven and then came back to life. Did this book change my mind? I believe it did. The power of prayer is amazing and it is evident throughout this book.Fact: Don Piper was in a car accident and pronounced dead at the scene. Fact: 90 minutes later, he was alive. Although, his account for his trip to heaven is hard to imagine with my feeble human mind, if heaven is the way he describes it, there should be no fear of death what-so-ever (unless, you aren't a believer).
I find it amazing that he was dead and came back to life, but the most amazing part is his journey of healing after the accident...and this is the largest part of the book. I truly believe miracles have happened in this man's life and he is still alive for a reason.
I highly recommend this book for everyone! In fact, I've asked Tony and Quinn (my 11 year old son) to read it, too.

I loved this book. I read it over a weekend and truly believed Don's depiction of heaven but was even more moved my his courage through his rehab. I think I would have had a hard time not forever being angry that I'd reached heaven and then was sent back to earth. EVERYONE should read this book.
