my friend Kelly challenged me to make one for Christmas too. I was stumped on how to use the tu-tu for something Christmas-y though. Ashton had the idea to make an elf and so this is what I came up with.
It is the same principal of a styrofoam ring...but instead of tulle, I covered it instead with felt. I think he is pretty darn cute. Hmmm...how many other holidays can I use this same idea for???

I would only make one small change - I think he needs two bells hanging down instead of one...HAHA!!!!!
Okay, after further inspection, maybe what I thought was one bell is just your peephole to your door. No need to add another then! LOL!
