Torment by Lauren Kate

Most popular book series these days either involve Werewolves and Vampires or Angels and Demons. This series is the latter and I was hooked by the end of the first book, but I didn't get near enough of the angels in it. Well, book 2 did not disappoint. This one is full of very romantic moments, intrigue, and some great battles.

I was thrilled that the second book didn't leave me totally disappointed. It hooked me in even more and I have no idea how the 3rd book, Passion, will take the story. Cause the end of Torment left me on a complete cliffhanger. Book 3 comes out in June, so I only have a few months to wait.

If you haven't read Fallen yet, you can read my review by clicking HERE. If you have, it's time to pick up Torment and see where Daniel and Luce's love will lead them.

Hell on earth.

That’s what it’s like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel.
It took them an eternity to find one another, but now he has told her he must go away. Just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts—immortals who want to kill Luce. Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students: Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans.

At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are, and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives. Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn’t told her everything. He’s hiding something—something dangerous.
What if Daniel’s version of the past isn’t actually true? What if Luce is really meant to be with someone else?

I've enjoyed this series also. I think that this second book was so much better than the first and I'm excited to see what happens in June! I promise I won't buy it on my Kindle, I'll get a copy so it can be shared with the Book Club! :)
