Looking Back

I got this wonderful idea from a the blog of a dear friend of mine. I thought it was such a great idea, I just had to steal it. I'm keeping it short and sweet, but if I really wanted, I could easily do a single HUGE post for each of these.

1 year ago I was up to my armpits in planning my sister's wedding. Can you believe they are about to have their one year anniversary? How exciting! I was almost at my goal weight and felt pretty good. Unfortunately, my POTS would rear it's ugly head a few months later. Tony and I had also just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary!!

2 years ago I was making the decision to have weightloss surgery. It was a long, tough decision for me.

5 years ago we were in transition into our current home. While the house was being finished up and our other house was sold, we lived with Tony's grandma. The four of us lived in one of her bedrooms for a month. It was very tight, but I wouldn't trade that month's memories for anything.

10 years ago seems like a lifetime ago. Ashton was only 7 months old and Quinn had just turned 3. Tony and I had been married for 6 years and were at the onset of our 7 year itch. It was a tough time in our marriage, but I wouldn't change it. Without those rough times, we wouldn't be where we are today.

So, take some today and reflect on what you have done over the last ten years.

My Photo
I am married to my best friend and am the mom of two wonderful kids. I have had my ups and downs in regards to health, happiness and weight loss. This blog will tell you about all of those ups and downs and my opinion on the randomness that we call life.
