The doctor was seriously not kidding, changing from a vasal constricting medicine to a vasal dilating medicine is really hard on the body. Saturday and Sunday were rough. I felt like I had strep...one of the side affects of a beta blocker is dry mouth and sore throat. Add to that, more tiredness and dizziness and it makes for a tiring weekend.
I took today off sick and rested. Thinking I was doing better, the kids and I drove to Target to get the dab of groceries that we needed and in the short time in the store, I found out just how much the beta blockers are impacting me. It will be a while before I am 100%. Hopefully though, my body will adjust and I can get enough salt in my system to retain the necessary amount of fluids in my veins.
