Last week was the Great State Fair of Oklahoma! Our family loves the fair, but the last two years it has eluded us. It only comes for ten days and it can be very expensive. I tried to find a time for us to go as a family, but it just wasn't going to happen again.
As Ashton was whining about not getting to get to go, I suggested she call Tony's parents, Grandpa Garry and Grandma Treasa. Garry loves the fair and if anyone would want to go and take the kids it would be him.
So, on Friday night while I was at book club and Tony was at CrossFit, Garry and Treasa took the kids to the fair. They had a great time.
Maybe this can be a new tradition and give them something to do together. (Oh and the kids were kind and brought me some cotton candy and Tony a jug of rootbeer! Such good kids!)

What fun grandparents!! And how sweet of them to take pics. I can tell it was fun, even for your big boy!
I missed the fair this year too, but I think the Tulsa state fair is coming up here soon. You could make a quick road trip and we'd get our fix, heeheehee.
I'm glad they got to go. It looks like that was a WIN, WIN situation!
