What I'm Up to Wednesday

I have been eligible for an upgrade with our wireless carrier for about 6 months, but I have fought the pressure of technology and not given in...then just before Christmas, my wonderfully out-of-date flip phone finally crapped out.  I had no choice, if I wanted to continue to have a wireless, I would need to decide if I was gonna go with a cheap freebie again -- or -- enter the world of smart phones. 

It's not that I didn't see the benefit of a smart phone.  I did.  They are pretty awesome.  But it was the dang data.  It is just so expensive.  And with Quinn and Tony already having iPhones, I hated to add another $30'ish a month to our wireless bill.

I finally bit the bullet and got my first smart phone and data plan.  OMG!  I love my phone.  I got the Samsung Gallaxy S3 and couldn't be happier.  The guys make fun of me because the screen is like a mini-tablet, but I think this phone is just wonderful.

I've added a few apps already, but just this weekend, I decided to check out Instagram.  I've not added a ton of pictures yet, but I am hooked and I love seeing the pictures of my friends.  Is it crazy that I am just now finding out how wonderful some of this stuff is?  Well, probably.  But it's better late than never, I guess.
