The third item on my ways to stay focused list is to prioritize constantly. I guess in the realm of weight loss, prioritization needs to come when I find myself overwhelmed with life. During these moments of being overwhelmed, it is easy to say....I don't have time to go work out today....I'm too tired to worry about what I'm eating....etc, etc, etc. Sometimes these excuses have merit, but 99.9% of the time...they don't.
So, in my efforts to stay focused and prioritize, making healthy eating choices needs to be my first priority. Exercise is critical too, but without the foundation of healthy food choices, the exercise is almost pointless (at least in my opinion).
The other point of my prioritization will be to make time for this part of my life...make time to work out...plan ahead so food choices are not so difficult...these things need to be important too.
