The Lorax

We took the kids see The Lorax a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was as wonderful as I had hoped it would be. I was perfectly okay with the environmental agenda, but the political agenda was a little overwhelming. When I go see a movie, I like to relax and open up my mind to a world away from reality.


From a kids perspective, it was fun and entertaining. Probably not entertaining enough for littler kids, but mine being 11 and 13 were sufficiently entertained. From an adult perspetive, turn your brain off and just watch the pretty colors on the screen and sing the happy songs.

My favorite part of the experience though was the preview for Dispicable Me 2. OMG! I cannot wait to see this movie!
