Workin' At The Carwash

Band is awesome! 

But Band is expensive!



The Band Boosters have been fantastic about making sure there are plenty of fundraising opportunities throughout the year to pay for some of the expenses...but who likes to sell junk?  Not me.

So far though, we've sold Pampered Chef, Cookie Dough and Blue & Gold Sausage. 
Now you tell me...who is doing the selling here? 
The kids? 
I think not!  It's the parents. 

So, I was very happy to see that there are a few fundraisers where Quinn has to do the work.  This past Saturday he worked a three hour shift at his first ever Car Wash.  They weren't very busy, but at least he has some accountability for making sure his band fees are earned through fundraising.  (And yes, that is my car that I made them wash.) 

After B&G is done, I'll be hitting up all of my friends for Auntie Anne's Pretzels.  I'm sure my friends will start blocking my calls, texts and emails by the time this is all said and done!
