Better to Give

I was kinda hoping that Ashton's urge to paint things would end when school started (read the post HERE of her painting extravaganza).  But I have not been that fortunate...thank goodness she has taken her brush to canvas instead of other body parts and furniture.

 She first made a canvas for her Bible Class on Wednesday nights.  The class is called Sarah's Daughters and it is for 5th and 6th grade girls.  The teachers in this call are very special ladies and they fully commit to helping our daughters mature and grow in God.  I think Ashton did a great job on this canvas and I can't wait to see it hanging in the Sarah's Daughter classroom.

Then, she decided she needed to paint a canvas for her teacher at school.  She said her teacher was so excited when she gave it to her.

Ashton is very much like me and she loves to give handmade gifts!  I love seeing that gift giving makes her so happy....It's better to give than to receive!
