The Countdown Begins....

....only 5 more months!!!

Hump Day Happy!!!

I am so excited. The tickets for the first Hunger Game movie went on sale today. The movie comes out on March 23 and of course my book club will be seeing it in the Warren Balcony.


So at 7:45 yesterday morning, I went to the Warren to get in line to buy our tickets. The line wasn't horribly long yet. I was 18th in line and got the exact tickets I wanted without any trouble at all.


The weather was nice (at least when the sun was out) and I enjoyed 3 hours outside having some peaceful "me" time. I finished a book, started a new one and listened to a little bit of an audio book. It was a fantastic morning (but man, look at how bundled up I was).

My Phobia Has Come to the Big Screen

And I don't care how cute some of these guys seem, they are still creepy to me. I'm sure we'll see the movie, so if I end having nightmares of talking owls afterwards...I'll be sure to let you know.

Waiting in the Queue

Friday morning, the tickets for the third installment of Twilight...Eclipse...went on sale. My friend, Nicole, and I arrived at the theatre at 8am to wait for the tickets to go on sale at 10am. This is the first time I have waited in line for tickets to anything. But what made this wait the craziest idea ever was the weather...gees...it's the middle of May, it is supposed to be sunny and beautiful. Instead it was rainy, cold and windy. Miserable...but worth the wait.







We got tickets for the Warren balcony for Friday, July 2. I am totally excited to see the movie with my girlfriends! It will easily make me forgot the miserable wait in line.

TMI Post of the Day

When I was in high school, I had the ambition of a flea. All I really wanted to be was stay at home with a house full of kiddos. So, in case I failed to meet Mr. Right and have the house of kiddos, I had a "back up plan". I guess I was 16 or 17 when I made this decision. I decided if I wasn't married with kids by 34, I would get artificially inseminated. So, here is the funny thing....there are two movies coming out this year on this exact topic...I LOVE IT!

I can't wait to see these movies! And I THANK GOD it didn't come down to this for me! hehehe

New Moon Mania

New Moon finally has made it to the theatres. It felt like it wasn't ever going to make it.

To celebrate, a group of my friends (some Shabby Souls and some JH'ers) started Saturday afternoon at my house for a New Moon Pre-Party where we watched Twilight and the Scene It DVD Game: Twilight Edition. We had sooooo much fun! Great friends, great food, and a great time.




After that we headed to The Warren Balcony where we met up with the rest of our friends to watch New Moon. The best thing about the balcony is that the seating is reserved so you don't get there early to get a good seat. The seats a wonderfully comfortable and you have seat side service.





The movie was even better than the first one. I can't explain how much I loved it. Appearantly, Eclipse comes out this summer (book 3 in the saga)...so now I am on the edge of my seat waiting for it!
